The Invisible Elders, we see them everyday without realizing what is on the outside might not be what truly reflects their lives, their needs and their struggles. They are the people we see in our senior communities, care centers, neighborhoods, maybe even our parents.

They can be anyone from the polished pictures of active, vibrant seniors depicted in TV commercials and glossy photos in magazines or they could be those we, as senior care professionals, assist everyday. We may miss them altogether. Are they willing to share who they are? Or, do they choose to be transparent… invisible?

Each may have an “invisible” element and this year’s Fall Aging Conference has brought together national and local experts to help uncover some of the issues facing today’s seniors and share ways we can see past the obvious, watch for the hushed and communicate with all “Invisible Elders” to enhance and improve the quality of their lives.

Fees

$60 - Presenting Organization Member (Minneapolis Area Senior Workers Association, Senior Workers' Association of the Greater St. Paul Area)

$75 - Non-member

$35 - Full-time student, retired senior or sub-committee member

$10 - Late registration fee
